Back!

Hellos peeps,
sorry for not posting the last 7 days. As I had mentioned. Was in Vietnam yea? Well took many photos. yupp, those will come in later. have not downloaded into this com. so read this post first. photos will come in later.
okkay, well. Set off for vietnam on the 29 of nov. yea well. woke up at around 7am. Cos had to reach the airport early. My flight was I think around 9 or 10. Cun remember no longer. 7 days. so those flight timings went into history forgotten. so yea. woke up at 7am and sat the MRT to the airport. As it was working hours. it was so damn packed you know. with workaholics. so cld hardly breathe. reached the airport. had breakfast at macdonalds cos had not had mine right inthe moring. Aft breakfast. waited for gramps and uncle. they were seriously LATE! my parents had to wait for them cos we going as a grp. called them first. time. were at east coast. second. reaching. they were like so damn annoyed. okkay then at last went in. shop. board. on the plane. as usual the routine if going on hols. the flight was around 3 hours long. watched the movie superbad on board the plane. quite okkay. then had lunch and finally arrived at the airport. In Hanoi. if i am not wrong the capital of vietnam or was it ho chi minh. okkay whatever. It was around genting's temperature. quite cold. All around it was plantations. fresh air. hmmm....had a feeling was going to have fun there. sat in a van. quite clean. not dirty as i had thought that it wld be. was on a 45 min journey to the hotel which was in town. I was damn freaked out when i finally saw the amount of motor bikes. okkay you cld say the motorbike car ratio in vietnam was like 50:2? so many motor bikes right? hardly any cars.okkay then reached hotel. was free till dinner time. so shopped a little there. bought a bag. It was a nice bag. took photos and photos. as i said photos have to wait a little while longer. maybe the nxt day or tonight. then the tour guide came and brought us for dinner. tried the vietnamese spring roll. nice crisp skin. in it was kinda like vegetables. but still nice. had to pay for own drinks. but was fine too. then was brought back to hotel. itinery for that day was boring right? is kinda like sleep and eat. hohos~ like a PIG!
Nxt day, woke up at 6.30am. normal routine.

went to have breakfast. they had the vietnamese beef noodles there. had a bowl. nice man! that was the second vietnamese dish i had tried since my arrival. then sat off at around 8am. ohh yah! my tour guide's name was hung. okkay it does not prononce as the same way you prononce in english. but as 'hng' like the 'h' sound and an 'ng'. okkay. enough crapping bout the tour guide's name. okkay so we went on our way to sight-seeing. forst stop was the Ho Chi Minh-is the founder of vietnam's name-mausoleum. it was situated at a place which is a miniature version of tian an men square.

nice place. took photos again. and went to quan thanh pagoda. nice one. was situated near a lake. known as Truc Bach lake. then went to Ngoc Son temple. aft then went to the temple of literature. sounds like a place with scholars right? actually last time it was actually a university. but now an attraction. yea. then went to a shopping centre to shop. not much there. had luch. and proceede to ha long bay. a two-jour journey. on the way. stopped at a place where disabled ppl make things to sell. was like a departmental store. but the sign on the place read"Welcome to the production workshop for disable people."

When I saw that, i was like"WTH!" as if we were like disabled people. then my father and bro were like guffawing out loudly. i also joined in. damn hilarious. my mum and ah ma bought each a vietnamese suit. quite nice. but io felt that my ah ma suited normal clothes more yea? no offence though. then we were again on our way to ha long bay. reached the at nightfall. crossed a beautifel bridge. did not manage to snap a shot of it though. regret. had dinner at a local restaurant. had seafood. nice man! then had to stay overnight there as our nxt day of sightseeing was there and ha long is quite a distance frm hanoi. check-in to hotel. not as nice as hanoi's.thats what happended that day!
3rd day.had breakfast. this time at breakfast i had chicken noodle. also very nice. set off at 8.30am. woke up at around 7am that morning. adn sat a boat-quite a big one- to a an island. we were also so damn happy cos only 7 of us were onboard. and it was double decker. the sec9nd flr was not covered. i sat there for a while but did not dare to move. vry cooling. and nice. one day, you ppl sld REALLY go there.the wind blew against my face. the waters were a deep blue. beautiful sight.

then went down to it. there were also tables. No matter my description. it will not make up for what i have seen. it is really beyond words. the swishing of the water. the wind. the many islands there. i wished you all were there to enjoy with me... really...okkay. hen reached the island. where we went into a cave. was all mabe of natural limestones. there also some light effects. took more photos. there was a limestone which looked like an elephant with its baby. wow. so natural. then it was a 30 min walk through the caves. it was actually up on the mountain. so out of the cave really beeeeeeeeautiful scenary.took more photos. then went back to boat. the person incharge brought out pearls. to sell apparently. my ah

ma bought. my ah gong hated spending so much. so he rather not see. then went to a floating a village whr they sell live crayfish, big fish, crab, prawns and all. also had floating market. my ah ma. AGAIN. bought banans. but that part was okkay. we did not buy any live seafood. although if we buy they can cook it onboard for us to eat. but as buhdist(i spell short form) we felt it is too cruel it is sha sheng. so went back on boat. had luck. ate lunch as we enjoyed the scenary outside. had big prawns. crab. vege. spring roll again(we have it almost every meal). then soup. and.. i forgot lah. anyway it was nice. went back on land. and was on our way back to hanoi. bye bye beautiful ha long bay. i will come back someday. oookay, i know its lame to say that. also had another stopover. will skip that part. nth much.

then reached hanoi. same hotel there. rest for a while. then went for a water puppet show at around 4pm vietnam time which is 1 hr behind sing time.. lasted bout an hr and a half. then had dinner. went back hotel. sleep.
4th day. that was the end of my stay in hanoi. proceeded to airport for domestic flight to ho chi minh which is also in vietnam. had a 2 hr flight. as it was domestic flight. not movie. no games. no nth. and it was vietnam airlines. the air hostress were quite rude. not like when we came to vietnam. we sat sing airlines. finally reached. it was like so much hotter than hanoi. and hotter than sing. so you can actually imagine how hot it was.met the tour guide there. will skip the crapping bout this ones name. went for lunch. we were supposed to go sight seeing. but cos our flight was actually delayed-which will nvr happen to sing airlines-, we did not go sight seeing. the tour guide said that we will cover those the nxt few days. so had lunch. in a posh restaurant. was empty. but food was nice. scallop, prawns,m squid... blah. the usual. then went back to hotel. this hotel is locatd right in middle of town. the place whr i stayed, it was like a smaller version of orchard road.had a gorvernor place like city hall and all. got lv shop burberry. and what have you. aft that check-in and waited. till dinner. like pig also. eat and sleep.okkay. that was all for that day.
5th day.woke up at around 7am too. brakfaast. this time did not feel like having noodles. had butter sugar bread-my alltime fav kind of bread. and when tour guide came. was on a 1hr and a half ride to the cu chi tunnels. whr there used to have the vietnam war. the vietnamese were damn clever to build the tunnel. three levels. got meeting room, dining room, and kitchen. and all that you have at home. they have it underground to hide frm the ang moh soldiers. the tunnels were very small. just right for a vietnamese. cos vietnamses are small sized. they built it small cos ang moh soldiers cannot get in. cos ang mohs are ususally fat and bigsized.all of us know that. clever right? i also got to rreally go underground into the tunnel. but my gramps opt not cos it was really dark. dont say angmohs. i had to practically bend down and walk was tiring. was also stuffy. thank goodness it was only for 30m. you can imagine,. if ang moh go in. they will be stuck there and die. inside the tunnels also have many trps. I really pei fu the vietnamese. really clever. I also saw the many traps used. as usual. took may photos. this time. it is really alot. for 5 days already have a few hundreds of them. okkay. there was a trap. as you know like when war. ang moh soldiers will not open the door slowly but kick it open so they planted a like metal sticks or shrp bamboo sticks on the doors whr ang moh cannot see. so when they kick. their foot will kena get oyu know. the sharp stick poke thru the foot of the ang moh. i took a pic with that trap. then there were also shops there, okkay yah. i forgot to say. we were mostly on land not underground. but we walked over the tunnel some parts of tunnels. the first level was already uncovered. there were also shops on our way out of that attratction. the place was actually kinda fenced. we were actually walking tin a jungle. but with many tourists and signboards. ookay back to the shops. the things there were damn cheap. necklaces. can-made aeroplanes helicoptors and all.bought lots of stuff. then was on our way back to ho chi minh city.had lunch. then covered some of the places which we missed the day before. bought more stuff. went sight seeing till dinner. then went back to hotel. however, we made our own way shopping. self-explrong the orchard road. nicey.
6th day.ah ha! love this place--Mekong Delta! It was an hour and a half trip there. also sit boat. to an island first. but not as nice as ha long bay lah. on the island, we listened to the islanders play vietnamese music and tasted the tropical fruits there. then nxt island.

saw how they made coconut candy. and bought many. went up a bridge and took photos. then went for a horse ride. whr the horses fetch us to a bee farm. the horses were CUTE! i was freaking scared of the bees. cos some were flying around. ate sugared peanuts and tastewd honey. it was like tasting honey at a countryside. which typically was. aft that went for a row boat ride.nice and beautiful. very vietnamesy. i loved it. then went back to the big boat and made our way back on land. had lunch around there. atee a fish which was damn big and a kind of bloated up big big. will post the pics. aft lunch. drove back to Ho Chi Minh city. went to visit another temple and went to An Dong market which is situated in a so klnown as chinatown in vietnam. bought much stuff too CHEAP. aft that went for dinner. and aft we made our own way to ben thanh night market. the stuff there was okkay. i mean the price. you will have to bargain until half the price cos they will still sell it to you don be cheated! then went back to hotel and sleep.
7th day. last day. free and easy. flight that day back to sing was 8pm. so had lots of shopping. explore and shop more of the orchard road. and other places. had lunch at a place called'PHO 2000' it was known to have america's president eaten in that place before. the food there was quite okkay. then went to a book shop. the note books there were cheap man! bought a few.then around 4pm. the tour guide came to fetch us to the airport. he fetched us early cos was wafriad of traffic jam. but in the end... THERE WAS NOT! so we idled there for bout 20 min. and cld finally check-in early. we were actually the earliest. shopped in the airport. and waited and waited and waited for the plane. sing airlines. it was not late or delayed.went on board. this time, they had more shows on this plane. watched high sch musical 2

was 1hr+ long. but my flight was shorter than its duration. so cld not wtach finish. fimally touched down on my country. was tired. went home. slept.(:
